What I love the most about reading Mr. Putin is that he is very instructional. He describes algorithmically the decision processes that apply to situations that we may never personally engage in, but have an ability, nonetheless, to appreciate. Replace any two names of countries in his algorithms with the names of two personal acquiantances, whose relationship reminds you of the aforementioned countries and, voila, you have a potential solution to the problem. Whatever happens in the elections, I hope that we will continue to have access to Mr. Putin's disciplined mind algorithms through his words. I've found their application extremely useful in normal business management and business strategy situations.

[...] Inside Krasnodar: Congratulations to Mr. Putin and to the country of Russia for being named “The Man of the Year.” While Time is correct to recognize the growing influence and importance of Russia in today’s world, it still fell back on old cliches and tired stereotypes in its cover story. Fortunately, Time magazine also printed the full transcript from its interview with President Putin. I often find that when one actually reads Putin’s words and has direct access to his thoughts and opinions one is surprised at how bright, logical, and insightful he can be. Sure you say but he’s still scary. Really? Read the transcript below and decide for yourself. You might be pleasantly surprised. […] [...]

Thank God for the NFL weekly Patriots highlight package on iTunes. Now I just need to get HBO's NFL show and Ron Jaworski's radio show too.

Have a couple Buffalo Wings for me a Buffs Pub.

Go Pats!!

Too high tech for me. I still use my mobile phone primarily for phone calls, and laptop for email, word processing, calculations, planning/scheduling, etc.

Although, something that has functionality at the level of the iPhone might make me change my mind. I have construction and real estate developr clients here in the Boston area who use the "crackberry" and find it to be invaluable.

Patriots are going to steam roll the Jets this weekend. I think the Pats have been playing possum all preseason, just in anticipation of this game. Jets fans (and sports writers) who believe that Mangina he cracked the Belichick Code and is prepared to slay the dragon this season are in for a rude awakening!

Vince Wilfork bursts past the J-E-T-S left guard, hitting Pennington, who simultaneously suffers a broken left arm and retorn right rotator cuff. Yes, the prediction is for pain, boys and girls.

I apologize for the rant, I just so rarely see NFL talk (let alone Patriots talk) on a Russian related blog. I think last time was when Putin swiped Robert Krafts ring ...

Hi, there,

Nice picture.
Although, I used to see it 'life'. I guess, there's been quite a few changes since that time.

Interesting, how things may turn in this life: you are a guy who moved to Krasnodar from America, I am a guy who moved from Krasnodar to America.. well, - 'from Krasnodar - via Moscow - to 'North America', i.e., Canada'.

At times some things would remind me about Kuban

http://www.clashmaker.com/2007/06/26/kubancubana/ :))

I'll be looking into your blog every now and then,
Let's keep in touch,
