Here’s a great photo of the Obamas and Medvedevs meeting in Moscow. There’s so much old-style Cold War thinking in both countries that a photo like this makes you realize that life is short and there’s no reason why our two countries shouldn’t be much better friends. The other thing that strikes me about this photo is the young age of the Presidents. What a contrast to the old days with Nixon and Brezhnev.
