The Pink Elephant is in the room


So you want to be in the social shopping space?

OK…… but now you will have to live with that pink elephant named “Amazon aStore.”

The Affiliate Tip blog writes, ” The Amazon affiliate program has a new option called aStore (click the image above to go to the actual storefront) that enables affiliates to create a custom Amazon storefront…..”

No widgets? Just a matter of time.

Thanks for the AStore, its a good start, however there are some features I would like to see added which will help keep people coming back……..

Sale Widget needed - I would love to see a widget released for listing sales items from a speific product category, so my users can find the hottest sales on Amazon in a category I specify.
Please let us center everything on the page, it looks really bad with nothing but blank space on the right side of the screen, or give us widgets for the right side of the screen so we can use both sides of the screen.

These are some of my ideas how to make astore better and more profitable!

What’s the end game going to be? Don’t know. But I think it’s fair to say that we will see a thinning out of the herd in the social shopping space in the next 6 months.
